Leupold & Stevens, Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon, is seeking a CNC Setup Machinist to set up and run established parts on INDEX turning centers with some secondary operations. You will read prints, interpret GD&T, adjust tools, and train operators to ensure conformance with specifications.

Base rate $31.00-$36.00/hr plus a $3.00 shift differential, with robust benefits including health and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401K with up to 8% company match, profit sharing and product discounts.

Qualificações

• Seven years of production machinist and troubleshooting experience.
• Five years INDEX turning center experience preferred.
• Must interpret and apply GDT.
• Must perform advanced shop math.
• Must communicate written and verbal technical terms in English.
• Familiarity with computer and Microsoft software systems.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, adjust, rework parts on INDEX turning centers and related machines; notify supervision of non-conforming product.
• Read/edit programs, assess tool conditions, install attachments, adjust tools, perform offsets, monitor alarms and coolant.
• Perform SPC and maintain process within target using applicable software on machines/parts.
• Perform 1st articles with GD&T understanding.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Train operators and oversee operator work product.
• Complete department paperwork and data entries.
• Notify supervision of unassigned machines and seek additional work.
