Staffmark is seeking a CNC Set Up Technician in Sun Valley, CA to prepare CNC lathes and mills for production and verify setups for quality and efficiency. Ideal candidates have 5+ years CNC setup experience and strong blueprint-reading skills.

The role emphasizes safe, efficient manufacturing, with opportunities to troubleshoot and optimize tooling and machine parameters in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC setup experience required.
• Experience setting up CNC lathes and/or CNC mills.
• Experience with both CNC lathes and mills preferred.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines for production operators.
• Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine components.
• Verify machine settings and tooling prior to production runs.
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot setup and machine-related issues.
• Follow production schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
