Evolving Solution Services is seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Technician to join our manufacturing team in Michigan. The role focuses on setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and coordinate with operators for prompt problem resolution.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls, and proficiency in reading blueprints and using CAD/CAM tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining and setting up/machine operation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines (drilling, grinding, milling).
• Prepare perishable tooling for new processes.
• Read blueprints to understand specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for quality standards.
• Maintain and document setups, tool changes, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize processes.
• Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.
