Magnet-Schultz of America, Inc. is seeking a Swiss Set Up Operator in Westmont, IL. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes for prototype and production runs, following engineering drawings and using our advanced CNC machinery.

Responsibilities include reading G-Code, interpreting blueprints, applying proper tolerances, and using Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls. Experience with Mori Seiki, Eurotech, Nakamura or Swiss Star is preferred.

Qualificações

• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and geometrical concepts.
• Set up and operate CNC lathe to run prototype and production jobs.
• Understand machine tool accuracies, fixture/tool offsets, and tool life.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate CNC Lathe and prove out new programming.
• Read and understand G-Code and interpret blueprints.
• Transfer metric measurements to inches and maintain tolerances within .0001.
• Work with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls and inspect parts using standard tools.
• Conduct first piece and in-process inspections.
• Experience with aluminum and stainless materials.
