Job summary

Schivo Medical, a contract manufacturer on Long Island, is seeking an experienced CNC Service Technician to repair and maintain complex CNC machinery and associated electromechanical equipment for medical components. The goal is maximum equipment efficiency and reliability in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires 5+ years of multi-craft maintenance, with strong CNC repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, and drawing-reading skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or similar 2-year technical degree preferred.
5+ years field knowledge as a multi-craft technician in CNC Repair, Mechanics, Industrial Electrical, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and PLC.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain CNC machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment.
Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance on production equipment (e.g., CNC machines).
Work on control devices and circuit boards; assist with deviations and corrective actions.
Initiate repairs and modifications supporting Continuous Improvement and 5S.
Manage spare parts inventory and assist in shop maintenance and safety systems.
