Job summary

Avalign Technologies, a leading medical device manufacturer, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support CNC machinery, including Mori Seiki, Makino, Tsugami, and Citizen Swiss. The role focuses on reliability, efficiency, and high-quality production for critical devices.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in CNC maintenance within medical device manufacturing, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a maintenance technician role in medical device manufacturing or similar
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic CNC systems
• Familiarity with CNC programming and control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform inspections and tests on CNC components to identify issues proactively
• Collaborate with production and engineering to diagnose and rectify malfunctions
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts replacements
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new CNC equipment while adhering to safety standards
