Job summary

The Cimarron Trailers team in Manhattan, KS seeks a meticulous CNC Saw Operator to measure, cut, and machine trailer components from blueprints and work orders. You’ll stock materials, support the Build Department, and keep parts flowing to production while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient shop floor.

Ideal candidates read tape measures to 1/16 inch, collaborate with welders and supervisors, and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiarity with operating saws and related machinery is a plus.
• Basic understanding of blueprints, sketches, and work orders is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions to fabricate trailer components using various tools.
• Ensure product conformance to specifications and standards from work orders and drawings.
• Measure, cut, and machine parts using extrusion saws, tube benders, bandsaws, chop saws, etc.
• Stock materials for production lines and subassemblies.
• Maintain inventory and organization of standard tubing materials and aluminum components.
• Collaborate with operators, welders, and supervisors to address issues and maintain lean processes.
