CNC Saw Operator

About the Role:

We’re a busy fabrication shop seeking a CNC Saw Operator to run computer-controlled sawing equipment and assist with raw material prep in Eastlake, OH. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, detail-focused, and ready to contribute to high-quality metal cutting and production support.

What we can do for YOU:

• Pay: $18-23/hr
• Shift: Mon-Fri 7-3:30pm, OT is optional after probationary period

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC horizontal and/or vertical band saws or cold saws to cut steel, aluminum, and other metals to size.
• Read and interpret cut lists, blueprints, and job travelers to perform accurate cuts.
• Measure and verify materials using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Load, position, and secure raw materials using forklifts, carts, or cranes as needed.
• Maintain clean cuts and optimize material usage.
• Perform routine maintenance, blade changes, and clean-up of saw area.
• Work closely with welders, machinists, and production leads to keep workflow moving.

Requirements:

• Prior experience operating a CNC saw or industrial cutting equipment.
• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and cut sheets.
• Strong math and measuring skills.
• Comfortable working with steel and aluminum stock in a fast-paced shop.
• Forklift or crane experience is a plus (or willingness to learn).
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and organized.
