Job summary

SAFE Boats International in Bremerton, WA seeks a Machine Operator 1 (Router Operator) for swing shift to operate CNC gantry router systems and support a high-performance aluminum boat build.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 3+ years of related experience; forklift cert may be needed. Salary ranges from $22.00 to $27.00 per hour DOE with benefits including medical/dental/vision and 401K.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read gauges and interpret measurements.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC and other basic machine tools for precision machining.
• Monitor machines, change tooling, and ensure proper work piece placement.
• Collaborate with supervisors to resolve malfunctions and maintain production.
• Listen for abnormal sounds or vibrations and adjust equipment accordingly.
• Lift, move, and handle raw and finished materials with safe practices.
• Verify measurements with precision instruments and ensure specifications.
