Excel Boat Company in Union City, TN, is seeking a CNC Router Operator to setup, program and operate router tables to cut boats from aluminum, meeting production goals in a fast-paced shop.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read calipers, lift heavy parts, and work with the engineering team to troubleshoot machines. Forklift/crane certification is preferred; the team emphasizes safety and quality as we build high-end boats.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Experience with hand and power tools in a shop environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate router tables and cut boats to meet variable production goals.
• Program routers by accessing the proper programs and initiating startup sequences.
• Read calipers for thickness and measure parts as required.
• Troubleshoot machines with engineering to resolve nesting/parts issues.
• Perform tool changing and routine maintenance on tables.
• Keep the department clean and organized; assist with hull bending operations.
