Job summary

Ethan Allen is seeking a router operator to support plywood processing operations. You will prepare sheets, load and run the router based on work orders, and stack finished parts for transport. The role includes handling scrap, operating a forklift, and keeping the area clean and safe.

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow written directions. This on-site position requires basic math, reliability, and willingness to perform occasional

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow directions (verbal and written).
• Basic math skills for counting and simple calculations.
• Previous experience preferred in manufacturing or woodworking environments.

Responsibilities

• Move plywood sheets to milling board and prepare for router loading.
• Load/select work orders on touch screen and initiate cuts.
• Stack cut parts on frame buggy and manage scrap plywood in scrap buggy.
• Operate forklift to restock plywood and deliver to router area.
• Clean dust with vacuum or air gun and inspect boards for loading.
• Perform weekly machine shutdown cleanup and assist with non-routine tasks.
