Job summary

Burrows Cabinets, LLC in Taylor, Texas seeks a CNC Machine Operator to run and maintain CNC routers, cut and shape materials, and ensure adherence to customer specifications.

The successful candidate will read drawings, set up tooling, perform quality inspections, and maintain a clean work area while meeting production standards. This role requires attention to detail, basic math, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of wood species.
• Requires excellent attention to detail and a results driven approach.
• Able to use a tape measure and calipers.
• Able to perform to production standards.
• Ability to determine common quality defects in material.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
• Able to lift heavy objects in excess of 30 lbs without considerations.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Skill in operating CNC machinery is a plus.
• Follow direction and instruction - coachable
• Work well with other employees
• Follow safety guidelines

Responsibilities

• Follow the set-up, shut down and operation instructions.
• Able to perform changeovers and replace tooling as required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and shop routings.
• Ensure all work is completed per the work order.
• Ensure all quality standards are met. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Perform all design maintenance tasks and maintain a clean work area.
