Job summary

IMIA, LLC is seeking a Router Operator to operate a CNC 5-Axis router used in hull treatment and non-metallic coatings for U.S. Navy submarines.

The role requires willingness to learn, dependability, and ability to think critically, with full-time status and a pay range of $25.00-$40.00 per hour DOE. Responsibilities include programming and overseeing router operation, reading drawings, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a challenging shipyard environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in CNC milling equipment programming/troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, Fusion 360, etc.
• Experience in shipyard/manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and oversee CNC 5-axis router operation and calibration tests.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
• Operate and maintain CNC milling machinery safely and efficiently.
• Prepare molds and templates for hull treatment materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with respirator requirements.
• Oversee quality control and ensure final product matches sketch.
