Job summary

Sandvik Westminster, SC is seeking a mechanically inclined Machine Operator II to operate, set up and maintain CNC and robotic equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. You will read blueprints, follow instructions, and ensure parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read technical drawings. Onsite, second shift with competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret blueprints, specs and instructions.
• 1–3 years experience in mechanical/manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment following work instructions and specs.
• Develop and adjust basic CNC programs to support production.
• Monitor processes and verify quality with SPC and measurements.
• Perform routine equipment and tooling maintenance and evaluate tooling conditions.
• Support training and development of less experienced operators.
