Job summary

Sandvik Coromant in Westminster, SC seeks a CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate grinding equipment per blueprints and specs. You will enter data into systems, perform maintenance, and optimize NC/CNC programs to meet quality and productivity targets.

The role requires 2–3 years CNC experience, strong work ethic, and strict adherence to safety and ISO standards. On-site position with no remote work or visa sponsorship provided. Requires US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ experience working with CNC machines in a mechanical or process industry preferred.
• This position requires current authorization to work in the United States; Sandvik cannot provide visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• On-site in Westminster, SC; remote or international work arrangements are not available. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Enter quality, SPC, production, and other data into company information systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist with major repairs.
• Develop, edit, and optimize NC/CNC programs for grinding equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety/environmental regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in work areas.
• Achieve cycle time, productivity, and machine utilization targets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
