Global CNC is seeking a CNC Quality Control Inspector to inspect machined components and finished toolholders across our product lines. This role emphasizes precision, accuracy, and maintaining traceability from the machine to the customer.

You will perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections and document results. Strong GD&T knowledge and experience with CMMs help ensure product quality and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and GD&T specifications.
• 3+ years in CNC quality control or inspection.
• Experience with measuring tools and CMM.

CNC Quality Control Inspector

Global CNC is a U.S.-based manufacturer specializing in precision tool holders for CNC turning and mill-turn machines. Our product line includes Static and Driven Toolholders, Capto/PSC Toolholders, Toolholder Bushings, VDI Toolholders, and Driven Tool repair services. We exist to challenge the limits of machining by solving customer problems with high-quality tooling solutions designed for performance and reliability.

Global CNC is hiring an experienced CNC Quality Control Inspector to inspect machined components and finished toolholders across our product lines. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision and holds every part to a high standard.

You will be responsible for first piece, in-process, and final inspection, along with the documentation that keeps our product traceable from the machine to the customer. If you have strong inspection experience and a sharp eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first piece, in-process, and final inspection on machined parts and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Inspect OD, ID, OAL, and concentricity using v-blocks with height indicators, gauge pins, micrometers, calipers, shadowgraph, and CMM
• Determine acceptance or rejection of parts and communicate issues to operators and production
• Complete Final Inspection Reports for all finished product
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inspection area

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in CNC quality control or inspection
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Hands-on experience with CMM, shadowgraph, micrometers, calipers, and indicators
• Ability to add, subtract, and convert across all units of measure
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred

• Experience inspecting toolholders or other high precision turned components
• CMM programming experience
• Experience leading or training an inspection team
