Job Description: CNC Post Processor and Simulation Optimization Expert

We are seeking a CNC post processor and simulation optimization expert to develop and refine post processors that convert CAM software outputs into machine-specific G-code. This role involves optimizing CNC machining processes through simulations and verification to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining, post processing software, and simulation tools.

1. Develop and Maintain Post Processors: Create and update custom post processors for various CNC machines to ensure precise and efficient G-code generation.
2. Simulation and Verification: Conduct simulations and verification to identify potential issues, optimize tool paths, and ensure safety.
3. Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance machining processes, including feed rates, speeds, and tooling, to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
4. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve issues related to post processing, simulation, and machining processes.
5. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with engineers, programmers, and operators; provide technical support and training on best practices.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of post processors, simulations, and machining procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• CNC Machining Knowledge: Deep understanding of CNC machines, Siemens NX, and G-code programming.
• Post Processing Software: Experience with various post processing software packages, especially those utilizing Siemens NX.
