Job summary

Boeing EnCore in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Thermwood Programmer to develop CNC programs from engineering drawings, revise programs with new revisions, and generate G-code for soft tooling using Mastercam.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure accurate, timely production, read drawings, select tools, and optimize toolpaths for quality parts. Must be US work authorized; base pay shown.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is desired.
• Trade or Technical School is desired.
• 0-3 years’ experience using CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Read and understand CNC G-code.
• Generate G-code using Mastercam software.
• Optimize operation toolpaths and cutting tools.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing staff.
• Revise programs as drawings or design revisions are released.
