Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops in Norwood is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our fast-paced stone fabrication team. You will interpret work orders, digitize templates, and write programs using Alpha Cam, Easy Stone, and Slabsmith to optimize material yield and product quality.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a shop environment while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Programmer or similar in manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and machining process understanding.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive shop work orders and prepare for production.
• Digitize templates or import digital templates for production.
• Write programs using Alpha Cam, Easy Stone and Slabsmith platforms.
• Nest pieces on slabs for optimal appearance and yield.
• Maintain equipment with regular inspections and minor repairs.
• Work safely at all times.
