Position Summary
The CNC Programmer Sr will be responsible for programming for the Mold and Stamping Toolrooms, Cretex fixturing, and internal projects. The role includes supporting model and design modifications based on repairs or revisions of tooling and fixtures.

• Program CNC machines for all projects and components.
• Develop machining processes and evaluate manufacturability.
• Use CAD/CAM to generate manufacturing files, setup sheets, fixturing, and tooling requirements.
• Manage control revisions and archiving from start to finish.
• Ensure correct CNC code generation.
• Research and develop solutions for machining issues and new technologies.
• Collaborate with production, manufacturing engineers, and Toolmakers to improve processes and tooling.
• Lead training to grow CNC programming skills within the toolroom.
• Support design changes and CAPA investigations.
• Require a two-year technical degree and 10+ years of experience in CNC programming, setup, or operation.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and CAM systems like Cam Tools, Esprit, and Mastercam.
• Knowledge of fixturing, injection molds, stamping tools, and electrode design.
• Understanding of Wire EDM, Die sinking, and 3D printing machining.
• Strong blueprint and GD&T knowledge, math skills, and familiarity with tool steels, carbides, and plastics.
• Effective communication skills and ability to cross-train.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable

• 20+ years of CNC experience and ongoing education in related fields.
