Job summary

Super Steel, LLC in Mequon, Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Programmer to join our engineering team. This role creates, optimizes, and maintains CNC programs for sheet metal fabrication and machining, collaborating with engineering, scheduling, and production to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong CAD/CAM skills and experience with Trumpf Boost, Fusion CAM, and Haas machines. You will translate engineering designs into production-ready programs and support continuous

Qualifications

3+ years of CNC programming or related manufacturing engineering
Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T
Strong understanding of machining and fabrication processes
Experience creating manufacturing programs from DXF, STEP, CAD files
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Create CNC programs for laser and plasma cutting from DXF and CAD files
Develop nesting sheets based on schedules, material availability, and delivery requirements
Develop brake press programs and determine bend sequences and tooling requirements
Create and maintain CNC programs for Haas milling centers and lathes using Fusion CAM
Review engineering drawings and collaborate to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times
Maintain revision control of all manufacturing programs and documentation
