Job summary

Signode is seeking a skilled CNC programmer with CAM experience to develop programs for milling and turning operations, inspect parts, and optimize manufacturing processes. You will work from engineering drawings and GD&T to ensure high-quality parts in steel, aluminum, and plastics.

The role requires proficiency with CAM software, Haas control, and CAD tools, plus strong problem-solving and team collaboration abilities. This is an on-site manufacturing position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Desirable background in CNC milling/lathe with CAM exposure.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAM programs for CNC milling operations.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes; select tooling and calibrate machines.
• Interpret drawings and GD&T to ensure accurate part production.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision tools.
• Analyze part geometry and advise on materials and machining methods.
• Estimate cycle times and support process planning for parts.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain documentation for setups, tooling, and processes.
