Job summary

Bulls Eye Recruiting is seeking a CAD / CNC Programmer for the Countertops Division. Convert digital countertop templates and project drawings into accurate CAD files and CNC programs for stone fabrication.

Collaborate with field templaters, project managers, and shop staff to ensure precise fabrication, optimize material use, and implement revisions across drawings and programs.

Qualifications

• Review digital field templates, drawings, and job specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and revise CAD fabrication drawings for countertops, backsplashes, and related stone components.
• Verify dimensions, seams, edge profiles, overhangs, sink and cooktop cutouts, and other fabrication details.
• Create slab layouts and nest parts to optimize material use while considering vein direction, appearance, and seam placement.
• Prepare CNC programs and machine files for cutting and routing equipment.
• Coordinate with field templaters, project managers, and shop personnel to resolve discrepancies before production.
• Provide clear fabrication drawings and instructions to the shop, ensuring production uses the latest approved revisions.
• Support troubleshooting of programming or fabrication issues to reduce errors, rework, and material waste.

CAD / CNC Programmer — Countertops Division

Role: Convert digital countertop templates and project drawings into accurate CAD files and CNC programs for stone fabrication.

Primary job functions:

• Review digital field templates, drawings, and job specifications for accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare and revise CAD fabrication drawings for countertops, backsplashes, and related stone components.

• Verify dimensions, seams, edge profiles, overhangs, sink and cooktop cutouts, and other fabrication details.

• Create slab layouts and nest parts to optimize material use while considering vein direction, appearance, and seam placement.

• Prepare CNC programs and machine files for cutting and routing equipment.

• Coordinate with field templaters, project managers, and shop personnel to resolve discrepancies before production.

• Provide clear fabrication drawings and instructions to the shop, ensuring production uses the latest approved revisions.

• Support troubleshooting of programming or fabrication issues to reduce errors, rework, and material waste.

Preferred background: CAD/CAM and CNC programming experience in stone countertops or a related fabrication industry. Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret field measurements and construction drawings. Digital templating experience and Spanish are a plus.
