Job summary

Marand is seeking an NC Programmer/Operator to generate CNC programs, assist in setup and fixtures, and support manufacturing of complex components. You will contribute to development and prototyping programs, with growth in machining strategies, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in machinist/Tool technology or similar; Mastercam expertise preferred.
• Experience programming 3-5 axis machines and multiple machines.
• Knowledge of GD&T and reading engineering drawings.
• Ability to optimize machining strategies for aluminum, stainless, titanium.
• Strong problem solving and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Generate CNC programs and prove-out components for complex parts.
• Assist in job setup and fixture/tooling design for machining centers.
• Manufacture complex components and assemblies from start to finish.
• Develop and prototype new programs and machining strategies.
• Read/process plans and ensure part quality with proper measurement.
