Job summary

Marand in Fort Worth is seeking a highly motivated CNC Machinist to join our new plant. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills to manufacture precision components for defense and aerospace equipment.

You'll work with measuring tools such as micrometers, Vernier gauges, and Bore Gauges, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances. The role offers opportunities for skills development, knowledge sharing, and a pathway to advanced manufacturing roles.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills in low-volume batch production.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings with GD&T.
• Ability to create or develop prototypes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, develop parts and operate CNC lathes and/or mills efficiently.
• Ensure components meet specifications using micrometers, Vernier gauges, and bore gauges.
• Maintain production quality and minimize scrap and rework.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to improve output, cost and delivery.
• Support onboarding of apprentices and knowledge transfer.
• Operate equipment safely per Marand standards.
