Job summary

Viking Cue Manufacturing LLC in Middleton, WI is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our American-made pool cue production team. This full-time, on-site role requires hands-on machining, problem-solving, and a passion for precision.

You will program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, develop CAM programs, read drawings, select tooling, and support prototype and low-volume projects while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience in prototyping, job shop, or production.
• CAM programming experience using CAM software.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• On-site work in Middleton, WI.
• Experience with HAAS CNC machines is helpful.
• 4-axis or 5-axis machining experience.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
• Perform first-article inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to improve quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturability, tooling, and machining processes.
• Support prototype, custom, and low-volume machining projects.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work area.
