Job summary

Able Medical Devices is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to design and produce production and prototype parts using CNC equipment, with emphasis on Tsugami Swiss Lathe programming. The role requires precision measurement, GD&T interpretation, and collaboration with Development Engineering.

Responsibilities include tooling and fixturing selection, program management, 5S work area leadership, and ensuring quality conformance through rigorous inspection and documentation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as CNC Programmer for Medical Device Implants and Instruments; knowledge of quality control processes and gaging.
• Proficient with MS Office applications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines and troubleshoot; fabricate production and prototype parts.
• Determine tooling and material requirements for machining processes.
• Manage CNC programs, versions, and master copy updates.
• Lead 5S and maintain orderly work area in machining environment.
• Collaborate with Development Engineering to optimize manufacturability.
• Perform inspections and verify tolerances using precision gauging tools.
