Job summary

Fivestar in Berlin, CT is seeking a CNC 2, 3- and 4-axis programmer to join our precision manufacturing team. You will develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam, set up lathes, and produce high-precision parts for Defense, Firearms, and Medical industries.

Collaborate with engineering, perform quality checks, troubleshoot programs, and maintain documentation. Proficiency with Siemens controls and CamPlete Verification Software, strong reading of drawings, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience.
• Mastercam proficiency required.
• Strong reading of technical drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce high-precision parts.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform quality checks on machined parts to verify specs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues.
• Maintain documentation of programs, setups and revisions.
