Job summary

Pinnacle Partners, Inc. is seeking a CNC Programmer in Indianapolis, IN for a hands-on programming role in a high-mix, low-volume medical device manufacturing environment. The candidate should have 5+ years of CNC programming experience with MasterCAM and multi-axis machining, including 3-axis and 5-axis Haas machines.

The position balances desk work with floor support. The role requires strong GD&T interpretation, tooling knowledge, and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming experience is required.
• Proficiency with MasterCAM and multi-axis programming is essential.
• Experience interpreting GD&T on blueprints and performing quality inspections.
• Experience in a high-mix, low-volume environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate jobs and develop manufacturing plans for production.
• Generate CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machines using MasterCAM.
• Develop machining strategies for high-mix, low-volume production.
• Support first-piece runs and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
