Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation in Mankato, MN is seeking a CNC Programmer to develop and implement cost-efficient manufacturing processes aligned with product specifications. You will design tooling and generate CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, while interfacing with Engineering and Production to ensure quality and on-time output.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor/Associate level technical education, and US citizenship for North Mankato operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Must be a US citizen for positions at the North Mankato facility.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM machine programming, machining tooling and design.
• Mastercam experience a plus.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide programs to shop floor to support CNC Programmer on time.
• Prepare detailed layouts of processes and related equipment; interface with mgmt, design engineering and other staff to facilitate production methods and quality.
• Design, develop, test and/or source and cost-justify various tools, machinery and equipment for manufacturing methods; coordinate funding and purchasing.
