Job Description

Must have experience in programming, qualifying, and producing machined parts using CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Wire EDM machines, and manual milling & grinding equipment.

Must have experience creating, saving, and maintaining CNC programs using MasterCAM software from Auto-Cad or step files.

Reports to: Tool and Die Supervisor

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  1. Create, save, and maintain working drawings and files.
  2. Set up one-off and/or production jobs to run for self and others.
  3. Maintain quality standards and tolerances.
  4. Keep records as directed in work orders for time and materials.
  5. Maintain equipment per OEM and PSG requirements.
  6. Work directly with engineering to design and manufacture tooling, fixtures, and production parts.
Qualifications
  1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  2. 5 years minimum verifiable machinist experience and/or Technical Diploma.
  3. Ability to perform standard shop computations (math).
  4. Ability to read schematics (blue prints), engineering drawings, and technical manuals.
  5. Ability to perform basic maintenance of equipment.
  6. Ability to utilize heat treat equipment.
