Massie Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our welding, machining and fabrication team in Baraga, Michigan. Take a part from print to production, program, set up and run CNC equipment to produce precision components.

You’ll work hands-on at the machine, develop and improve programs, select tooling and machining strategies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure finished parts meet customer specifications. Strong hands-on CNC setup experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC setup and programming experience.
• Mastercam experience to create/modify programs.
• Ability to read blueprints and tolerances; understand machining processes.
• Experience with fixtures/workholding and exacting part inspection.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run CNC machines (VMCs, HMCs, lathes).
• Use Mastercam to create/modify CNC programs from prints/CAD models.
• Complete machine setups: tooling, workholding, offsets, speeds/feeds, coordinate systems.
• Read blueprints to determine best machining approach; troubleshoot issues.
