Job summary

M Force Partners in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking an experienced Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team. The role focuses on programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills, lathes, and manual equipment, producing high-precision metal and plastic components that meet engineering specifications.

The ideal candidate has extensive machining experience and strong Mastercam programming skills, plus a track record of mentoring others, developing processes, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of machining experience in precision manufacturing.
• Proficiency operating CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Mastercam programming proficiency.
• Ability to read drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, lathes and manual equipment.
• Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam.
• Manufacture precision metal and plastic components to specs.
• Develop machining methods, setup sheets, tooling, fixturing, and work instructions.
• Inspect finished components and perform in-process and final inspections.
• Train and mentor machinists and drive process improvements.
