Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist to program, set up, and run advanced CNC equipment in a fast-moving shop. You will own parts from print to polished finish, with daily new parts and a culture of ownership and craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates have extensive CNC experience, MasterCam proficiency, 5-axis milling capability, and a passion for precision. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and music-friendly, with room to grow and contribute.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience or equivalent advanced skill level.
• Proficiency with MasterCam and 5-axis milling machines.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances and precision machining principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot, think critically and drive solutions.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn and grow, with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using MasterCam.
• Set up and operate 5-axis mills, live-tooling lathes, and Wire EDM.
• Read complex blueprints, CAD models and technical drawings.
• Execute jobs independently with high precision and control.
• Maintain tight tolerances via in-process and final inspections.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize processes.
• Collaborate to improve efficiency and quality.
• Oversee projects from print to final polish and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines usingMasterCam
• Set up and operate5-axis Mills,live-tooling Lathes, andWire EDM machines
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings
• Execute jobs independently with minimal supervision and high precision
• Maintain tight tolerances through in-process and final inspections
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and optimize processes
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and quality
• Oversee projects from start to finish - from print interpretation to machining, polishing, and final presentation
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Qualifications
