Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer for a precision manufacturing environment. You will program, set up, and operate CNC mills/turns to produce high-quality components while meeting safety and production standards.

Ideal candidates have proven CNC machining and programming experience, with strong G-code knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings and CAD/CAM files.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and Programmer.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and CNC programming.
• Experience with CNC milling and/or turning centers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job.
• Perform machine setup, offsets, and tool changes.
• Edit and optimize CNC programs for efficiency and accuracy.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain strict tolerances and ensure quality standards are met.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: Competitive; dependent upon experience

Position Summary
