Hours

• 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (Monday - Friday)
• Overtime, as needed

Compensation

At S&C, we are dedicated to providing competitive and equitable compensation for all our team members, with a commitment to transparency in our pay practices. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $57,500 - $71,900. Individual pay within this range depends on performance, knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.

Are you passionate about CNC Programming? S&C Electric Company seeks a dynamic individual to coordinate our fabrication functions. As an Intermediate CNC Programmer, you’ll ensure smooth operations and support our team. Responsibilities include creating CNC programs for various technologies, working with drawings and blueprints, maintaining quality and safety standards, and collaborating with team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and modifying 2D sketches using Solid Edge CAD software
• Creating and modifying 3D part models using Solid Edge CAD software
• Creating 2D DXF files from models and other files
• Developing tooling standards and drawings
• Selecting tools, feeds, and speeds for machining
• Generating G and M machine code using CAM software
• Basic programming of robotic equipment
• Investigating cutting tool trends and new technologies
• Troubleshooting CNC programs with factory personnel
• Performing data tasks in Oracle and 3DX applications

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintaining punctual attendance
• Participating in meetings
• Communicating effectively and respectfully
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Certificate in CNC/CAM field or pursuing one
• Minimum 3 years experience with metal cutting operations
• Ability to read blueprints, perform shop math, and read machine code
• Good interpersonal skills
• Experience with SolidEdge or similar CAD software
• At least 1 year offline CNC programming experience (Esprit preferred)
• Robotic programming experience preferred
• At least 3 years operating or programming CNC machines

Physical Demands:

• Occasional standing, lifting, reaching, handling
• Frequent walking and computer use
• Some travel required
