Job summary

Magic Vac Inc. is seeking a newly graduated engineer to join our CNC department and help us grow. You will receive paid hands-on, on-the-job training in CNC programming, processing, and routing for thermoformed plastic components.

This role offers a path to a permanent position as we scale into larger contracts. We are a small, close-knit team of under 20 employees, with owners who know everyone by name. You will learn in a practical environment focused on technical excellence and reliable

Qualifications

• Newly graduated engineering student with a degree in manufacturing or mechanical design.
• Strong drive to learn and contribute to CNC programming and processing.
• On-the-job paid training with potential for a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Learn to safely operate CNC routers and trimming equipment using approved programs.
• Interpret basic blueprints and drawings.
• Translate CAD data into repeatable trim processes considering part variation, fixture performance, tooling behavior, and production requirements.
• Support engineering changes and customer drawing revisions.
• Assist with first article inspections and process qualification.
