Job description

PrideStaff is currently seeking a skilled CNC Programmer and Operator for an Industrial Machining Company in North Charlotte, NC. Our manufacturing client services a diverse range of industries specializing in high precision, tight tolerance turning and milling, prototypes to full runs, sub-assemblies, full assemblies, and first article inspection.

This job is for you if you are committed to producing the highest quality using the latest state-of-the-art equipment and manufacturing methods.

Location: Charlotte, NC 28216
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Salary: $50,000+ annually based on experience

The position will load and update on-machine programs, and set up and operate machines, A background in CNC Milling and/or Turning is essential for the role. The position requires high attention to detail, strong technical inclination, and the ability to adapt to changes and multitask.

Essential duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Setup and operation of CNC Boring Mills and Manual Lathes
  • Coordinating run plan with leadership
  • Making program adjustments on the fly
  • Troubleshooting equipment and process issues
  • Training team members to help with new equipment, process changes, and skill growth
  • Ensuring all parts are made within company quality standards

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of CNC Milling and/or Turning experience
  • 2+ years experience with controls (Fanuc, Okuma, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Comfort with large diameter parts (up to 2ft)
  • Working with tight tolerances (up to 0.00025” +/-)
  • Familiarity operating under ISO 9001 standards
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (current Green Card holder)
