Job summary
The Heico Companies hires a skilled CNC Programmer to develop complete machining solutions for precision aluminum parts used in aerospace/defense. You will plan strategies, design fixturing and tooling, and create CNC programs with setup documentation to ensure safe, efficient, repeatable processes.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of CNC milling programming experience, GD&T interpretation, and proficiency with SolidWorks and CAM software.
Qualifications
- 3+ years CNC milling programming experience with CAM software.
- Ability to read drawings and GD&T to develop strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specs, and GD&T to plan machining strategies.
- Design workholding, fixturing, and tooling for safe, repeatable CNC processes.
- Create CNC programs and setup docs to support production.
- Select tools and sequences to optimize quality and cycle times.
- Create manufacturing drawings for custom tooling and fixturing in SolidWorks.
- Develop probing routines and macros to support automation and inspection.
