Job summary

MC Molds Inc is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our shop floor. The candidate will set up and run 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC centers, read blueprints, and apply GD&T fundamentals to produce mold components with precision.

The role requires at least two years of CNC experience on Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Hurco controls, plus the ability to manage multiple machines and teamwork with the programming department. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Set up and run 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• Minimum 2 years CNC machining with Heidenhain, Fanuc and/or Hurco controls.
• Must read and understand blueprints.
• Understand GD&T fundamentals.
• Good fixture and jig practices.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends when needed.
• Knowledge of speeds and feeds for various materials.
• Capable of running multiple CNC machines simultaneously.
• Experience running horizontal CNC milling machines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Download required CNC programs to the controller.
• Set up and operate 3-axis and/or 5-axis vertical CNC milling machines.
• Create and edit CNC milling programs at the controller when needed.
• Work with the CNC programming department to determine efficient processes for molding components.
• Inspect parts during and after production using measuring tools.

• Knowledge and experience running horizontal CNC milling machines is a plus.
