Decavo seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, modify, validate, and maintain CNC programs for its 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers used in aluminum tooling and composite trimming. The role determines tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and toolpaths while creating clear setup documentation and supporting machinists during prove-out and production.

The candidate will work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve manufacturability, quality, productivity, and schedule

Qualifications

• Proficient in creating, modifying, and validating CNC programs.
• Ability to translate drawings and specs into machining processes.
• Experience with setups, tool selection, and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs for aluminum tooling and composite trimming.
• Determine tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and toolpaths with input from Engineering.
• Simulate programs to identify collisions and verify safety before production release.
• Develop/setup sheets, tool lists, and process documentation for repeatable execution.
• Provide technical support to machinists during setup, first-piece, and production.
