Job summary

Brunswick is seeking a seasoned CNC Programmer – 2nd Shift in Fond du Lac, WI to develop and optimize machining processes across Mazak, Okuma and other CNC tools. You will create efficient programs, select tooling, troubleshoot issues, and work with engineering, operations and maintenance to improve throughput and quality.

The role requires an Associate degree in CNC Programming, 5+ years machining and 2+ years CNC programming, plus CAD/CAM proficiency, GD&T and experience reading CMM results.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CNC Programming or related field.
• Minimum 5 years machining experience with set-ups.
• Minimum 2 years CNC programming experience.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and resolve machining challenges.
• Determine speeds, feeds, and cutting strategies to support operations.
• Maintain machine control parameters and provide technical support to maintenance.
• Create CNC programs for multi‑turret lathes, mills, and 3‑/4‑axis machines.
• Train entry-level programmers and maintain programming documentation.
