Job summary
Power Solutions International is hiring a CNC Programmer in Darien, WI for the 2nd shift. You will develop CNC programs, tool paths, and work/inspection instructions for power generation and automotive parts, using Cad/Cam (Radan) and SolidWorks.
You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, review drawings, adjust post processors, and maintain records while following safety and quality standards. This full-time role offers benefits and steady overtime.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated CNC programming experience and tooling knowledge.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (Radan) and SolidWorks is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs and tool paths for parts.
- Provide manufacturing process and tooling guidance.
- Determine tooling and gauging requirements.
- Create Work Instructions and Setup Instructions for manufacturing.
- Develop Inspection Methods/Instructions to ensure parts meet specs.
- Review schedules and engineering specs to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain CNC post processors and update programming software.
- Follow safety procedures and assist with material handling as needed.
