Job summary

Capewell Aerial Systems LLC seeks an experienced CNC Programmer in South Windsor, CT. You will program CNC turning and milling centers, develop sequences and fixturing, and create 3-D models with MasterCam to support production.

Responsibilities include tooling optimization, program revision control, and collaboration with machinists. Must have Mastercam course and 3+ years in CNC manufacturing; onsite, full-time role with safety and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Mastercam programming course completed.
• Minimum 3 years CNC programming experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with CNC Mills and HAAS equipment is a plus.
• 4th Axis Programming experience is required.
• Experience with machine automation and pallet changing is preferred.
• Fixture design and implementation experience required.
• Proficient tooling knowledge and setup abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capable of programming and running multiple machines when needed.
• Strong teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC Turning and Milling Centers per drawings/ specs.
• Create 3-D models from drawings using MasterCam.
• Develop operation sequences and fixturing for efficiency.
• Manage CNC programs and revisions; deploy to production via ERP.
• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes; maintain equipment.
• Train others and assist operators to meet production targets.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with cost estimator for times on potential work.
