Job summary

JARP Industries, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for first shift, full-time onsite.

The role involves developing and programming CNC processes for manufacturing, under supervision of Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programming Team Lead. Responsibilities include writing machining programs, selecting tools, speeds and feeds, running simulations, creating setup sheets, and reviewing ECNs for improvements.

Qualifications

  • Programming education from a vocational/technical school or 2 years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience writing CNC programs and using CAM software.

CNC Programmer (1st shift, Full-Time, Onsite only)

$32.00 - $36.50/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineer / CNC Programming Team Lead, the experienced CNC Programmer is to assist with the development and provide programming as assigned for computerized machine processes in manufacturing.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Write machining programs for new parts as assigned by the Senior Programmer.
  • Maintain facilities on routings for most current machines.
  • Determines machining process from established drawings/prints.
  • Write machining programs for parts with CAM software.
  • Decide which cutting tools and speeds and feeds are appropriate, considering the design specifications, materials.
  • Run simulation tests.
  • Create set-up sheets for programmed parts.
  • Evaluate programs and determine if improvements can be made to the code to increase efficiency, quality and safety.
  • Review ECN's for possible program changes.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Programming education from a vocational/technical school or 2 years of equivalent experience
