Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Mastercam Programmer to own all CNC programming for 2-, 3-, and 4-axis milling of low-volume, high-mix components. You will develop, test, and approve programs from engineering prints, establish tool sequencing, and set up feeds and speeds to meet tight tolerances.

You will create setup and operation instructions for machine operators and may assist with setups during peak workload.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mastercam programming experience; complimentary G-code, CAD/CAM, and trigonometry skills.
• Proficiency with Haas and Fanuc controls in a low-volume, high-mix job shop setting.
• 5 years of experience in CNC programming or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and approve trouble-free 2–4 axis milling programs from engineering prints.
• Establish tool sequencing, setups, feeds, and speeds for tight-tolerance parts.
• Create clear setup and operation instructions for machine operators; assist with setups as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications to ensure best practice machining methods.
• Sequence of tool operations and set up requirements.
• Determine methods, tooling, feeds, speeds, and all other requirements to produce products on CNC equipment.
• Approve all programs before releasing to manufacturing; prepare setup instructions for operator.
• May require assisting with job set ups at peak workload; handle special projects as assigned.

A prominent designer and manufacturer of custom industrial machinery is seeking an experienced Mastercam Programmer. You will own all aspects of CNC programming, developing 2-, 3-, and 4-axis milling programs for low-volume, high-mix custom components.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Develop, test, and approve trouble-free 2–4 axis milling programs from engineering prints.
• Establish tool sequencing, setups, feeds, and speeds for tight-tolerance parts.

Responsibilities

Develop programs for fabricating parts on CNC machine tools for 2, 3, and 4 axis milling machines.
Read and interpret engineering blueprints, sketches, drawings and specifications to ensure best practice machining methods.

Approve all programs to ensure that they are trouble-free before releasing to manufacturing.
