Job summary

nVenia, part of the Duravant family of companies, seeks a mid-level CNC Programmer to develop and refine CNC programs for mills, lathes, and routers. You will collaborate with engineering and production to improve machining efficiency and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Working closely with engineering and production teams, this role drives continuous improvement in machining processes, enhances manufacturing efficiency, and supports the delivery of high-quality products that meet customer and operational requirementsESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for various machines.• Interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.• Set up machines and perform test runs.• Select appropriate tools and materials for jobs.• Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machine issues.• Maintain records and documentation for programs and setups.• Train and mentor entry-level programmers and operators.POSITION REQUIREMENTS• Associate’s degree in CNC programming or related field preferred.• 2-5 years of CNC programming experience.• Experience with mills, lathes, and routers.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours per day. The employee frequently uses hands and arms to handle materials and equipment and may be required to walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
