We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Consulting CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and improving CNC programs, ensuring high-quality machine operations, and contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in CNC machine operation, programming, CAD software, blueprint reading, quality control, machine maintenance, precision measurement, and working with tight tolerances. If you are a self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for precision and quality, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to control a range of machine tools, ensuring the efficient production of parts and assemblies.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models to extract necessary parameters for programming.
• Monitor output to ensure that designs are produced correctly, adjusting machine settings or programming as necessary.
• Perform regular machine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot common issues.
• Work closely with our quality control team to ensure that all products meet our stringent standards for precision and quality.
• Train machine operators and provide technical support to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to understand product specifications and develop machining strategies accordingly.
• Continually seek opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce waste.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in CAD/CAM software, with a strong understanding of machine code and the ability to write and troubleshoot programs.
• Excellent knowledge of the operation, programming, and maintenance of a variety of CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and precision measurement tools.
• Experience working with tight tolerances in a high-volume production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (such as CNC Programming Certification) are an asset.
