Job description

Full-time CNC Programmer & Machinist

Preference: Employee from small-medium size shop - know process of metal fabrication from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Program multi-axis CNC mills using Mastercam
• Optimize tool paths for efficiency and precision
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to ensure accurate part production
• Assist in setup instructions and documentation for repeatability
• Troubleshoot and revise programs as needed

Requirements:

• 2-5+ years of experience in CNC programming (5-axis preferred)
• Proficient with Mastercam (must)
• Strong understanding of machining practices and cutting tools (must)
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) (must)
• Ability to work from 3D models and technical drawings (must)
• Comfortable with working with tight tolerances (must)
• Familiarity with AS9100D/ISO9100 (nice)
