Job summary

Pulplmill Services Inc is seeking a programmer/drafter to join the Machining Department. You will create parts and assemblies for production components used in industrial facilities worldwide, using BobCAD and AutoCAD alongside Inventor for 3D modeling.

Responsibilities include drafting drawings and CNC programs, collaborating with project managers and production staff to ensure accurate fabrication, and troubleshooting areas of vagueness.

Qualifications

• Experience creating drawings and CNC programs from customer specifications and shop drawings.
• Ability to consult with team to develop fabrication solutions.
• Strong CAD and CNC programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings and CNC programs based on information provided by the customer and project manager, construction specifications, and shop drawings.
• Consult with PSI team members to create drawings and programs.
• Assess/troubleshoot vagueness in drawings with the project manager to provide viable options for fabrication, production, and machining.
• Other duties as outlined by supervisor.

DESCRIPTION:

Pulplmill Services Inc. is actively looking for a candidate to join our team as a programmer/drafter. The successful candidate will work primarily with our Machining Department using BobCAD and other CNC programs to create parts and assemblies for production components found in industrial facilities around the world.

ROLES:

• - Skilled in the latest version of AutoCAD and similar CAD software programs
• - Skilled in the latest version of BobCAD and similar CNC programming software
• - Will work alongside project managers and production managers to create accurate fabrication drawings using both AutoCAD and Inventor (3D Modeling) as well as programming for CNC machines
• - Machining Scheduling and Troubleshooting

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• - Create drawings and CNC programs based on information provided by the customer and project manager, construction specifications, and shop drawings
• - Consult with PSI team members to create drawings and programs
• - Assess/Troubleshoot areas of vagueness in drawings in conjunction with the project manager to provide viable options for fabrication, production, and machining
• - Other duties as outlined by supervisor

COMPENSATION:

• - $22+/hr. rate determined based on skill-set and experience.
